# $GPTX

GPTX Token ($GPTX) is the backbone of GPTX's ecosystem. 

It is deflationary in nature which means the total supply will decrease over time to increase token scarcity. 

It is the medium of exchange that individuals and businesses must use to access our advanced AI protocol that powers the ecosystem. 

In addition, the token offers a variety of benefits to its holders, making it a valuable asset for those looking to participate in the future of AI in the crypto and blockchain space. For example, $GPTX will give holders & stakers access to GPTX's proprietary protocol, transact products and services on the [*Marketplace*](/gptx-whitepaper/marketplace.md) and participate in exclusive token drops via the [*LaunchPad*](/gptx-whitepaper/launchpad.md).
